Widely and wildly embraced Heavy Tiger release a new single

Heavy Tiger - the latest signing to Wild Kingdom records, hails from Stockholm, Sweden and plays rock´n´roll music that´ll shake you up well and good. Their 70´s styled blend of rock is best enjoyed live and they´ve had critics weep of joy.

Their first single, entitled Devil May Care is written for Heavy Tiger by Swedish, former The Ark-frontman, Ola Salo. And we remember well how Salo with his Ark lined up hit after another. Devil May Care, this little Adam Ant-scented pop song, is no exception.

"Devil May Care" is produced and recorded by Nicke Andersson in his studio The Honk Palace and mixed by Stefan Boman in Psychbunkern (Kent).

Since the release of their debut album 2014 Heavy Tiger have played hundreds of shows in Scandinavia, both on their own and as the support act. They also managed to hit the road for a full fledged European tour sharing the stage with rockers Backyard Babies.

"So, would you please give a warm welcome to Sweden´s finest – Heavy Tiger!”

Devil May Care is set for release on the 30th of September through Wild Kingdom/Sound Pollution.

You can also watch a live clip of the band playing ‘Rust’ at Geoff’s final show here:

‘Bloom’ was released last year and enjoyed much praise for its multi-faceted dynamic and masterful production. It mines influences from heavy rock to jazz and beyond, making it a uniquely enticing sonic entity, and a powerful addition to the high quality canon of progressive alternative rock. It is a unique thrill to watch a band's momentum build so steadily and confidently.

‘Bloom’ is available to order here now:
